Gloria Estefan on J.Lo Pregnancy: 'What a Surprise'

Jennifer Lopez had better be pregnant, says Gloria Estefan, who was not shocked about Lopez's recent announcement that she's expecting.

"Oh, what a surprise. I think we guessed that," the singer told Extra at the Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday. "Either that or she swallowed a basketball!"

Lopez and husband Marc Anthony officially confirmed their pregnancy Wednesday night in Miami at the close of their El Cantante Tour.

All joking aside, Estefan, 50, said the couple's baby will certainly have a head start in life. "Jennifer and Marc are going to make wonderful parents," she said. "The baby is definitely going to be talented!"

Estefan also said she'll appear on Dancing with the Stars next week after missing her scheduled date last month.

"This Tuesday, I'll be on to fulfill my commitment," she said. "I was really sad that I had to cancel. But, I had to be with my mom, no two ways about it. She was really, really ill."
