Ah, the hard-up life of an author.

First daughter Jenna Bush, still on the promotional trail for her book Ana's Story: A Journey of Hope, was spotted Monday on a flight from Reagan Airport in Washington, D.C., to Dallas – in coach, reports The Washington Post's Reliable Source column.

Still, she did have a window seat.

Bush, 25, was en route to a speaking gig at an event called "Celebration of Reading" and sponsored by her grandmother's foundation. (That would be former first lady Barbara Bush.)

The Post also says the sight of Bush – dressed in jeans and a blue sweater – caused rubbernecking among the other passengers on board. – Stephen M. Silverman
