• The China Beach star, who turned down a chance to play Bree in season 1, now plays her rival in domestic perfection, Katherine Mayfair.
ON PASSING ON THE FIRST GO-ROUND I don't really regret choices. [Creator] Marc Cherry had asked me to be on the show, but it was not what I wanted to do at the time. But I just finished doing a lot of serious stuff, so I wanted to do something lighter. So right now it's a really good fit. It's rare you get second chances in life, so I jumped in.
