ASHLEE SIMPSON & PETE WENTZ
ASHLEE TURNS 23!
What's, like, a totally rad way for Ashlee Simpson to celebrate her 23rd birthday? By dancing all night to Boy George at the '80s prom night theme party held at her parents' L.A. home on Oct. 6. Two hundred guests—including big sis Jessica, Wilmer Valderrama and Kenna, a collaborator on Simpson's December album—nibbled on red-velvet cupcakes, but the real treat came when Simpson and her boyfriend, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, 28, were crowned prom king and queen, and swayed to Bryan Adams's "Everything I Do." Says Wentz: "Now we can say we are high school sweethearts!"
As a gift to Simpson, Wentz vowed to ignore his cell phone for the entire day. "It's a big deal!" Wentz told PEOPLE the next night at the Hollywood Life Style Awards. "I'm really attached to it."
