Recorded in just 10 days, with 12 tracks clocking in at less than 34 minutes, the new Dashboard CD definitely feels like a quickie. Indeed, its raw sound and sometimes undercooked songs make it seem more like a collection of outtakes and demos than a proper new studio album. Still, thanks to the tunefulness and emo earnestness of Chris Carrabba, the disc does have its modest charms.
