Gary Collins Checks into Rehab

Gary Collins, who was due in a Los Angeles courtroom Friday for arraignment on DUI charges, is instead in a 60-day rehab facility, his attorney announced Friday, according to TMZ.com.

His lawyer said that the actor entered a treatment facility on Oct. 25.

Collins was formally charged with DUI on Oct. 29., after being arrested following an accident in the San Fernando Valley Oct. 24.

Collins's next court date is Dec. 6, when he is expected to enter a plea.

The former Hour Magazine and Home Show host, 69, faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
