Beckham Says Kids Are Getting American Accents | David Beckham
They've only lived in the U.S. for four months, but David Beckham says his kids are already starting to sound like natives.

"They sound as if they are from London – and that is how I want them to sound," he told Britain's ITV This Morning of sons Brooklyn, 8, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 2, according to Britain's Daily Mirror. "But they are getting little parts of an American accent. Romeo keeps saying 'Awesome' a lot. 'Awesome, awesome.' "

Beckham – the new face of Emporio Armani underwear – also opened up about his own personal preferences. "Used to be boxers," he said, "but now it is Y-fronts." (That's Brit-speak for tighty whiteys, folks.)

The L.A. Galaxy soccer star, who's been known to hobnob with the likes of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Will Smith – also admitted that he still does a double-take when he runs into Hollywood actors around town. "You don't want to look but you can't help it," he told the TV show. "I'm always starstruck."
