Jay-Z appears to be setting some sort of gastropub record: The rapper hit New York's The Spotted Pig on Tuesday night, his fifth straight evening at the super-hot restaurant, observers tell PEOPLE.

So what does he love the most about it? Is it the food? The cozy atmosphere? Or, perhaps, the fact that he owns the building and is an investor in the West Village eatery? That’s unclear, but on Tuesday, he and Beyoncé enjoyed a private party at the Pig's exclusive third-floor hangout. Earlier in the week, he and some male friends dined on the evening's special – deviled eggs. And before the holiday weekend, the rapper took some pals (including Interscope chairman Jimmy Iovine) for a business dinner.
