Lou Diamond Phillips, Wife Have a Daughter

Lou Diamond Phillips and his wife of three months, makeup artist Yvonne Marie, have welcomed their first child, the actor's rep says.

Daughter Indigo Sanara was born on Oct. 9, says the rep.

After a rough patch that saw Phillips pleading no contest to domestic battery upon Yvonne, his then-girlfriend, he attended counseling sessions and they married on August 16 – about two weeks after his divorce was finalized from previous wife Kelly.

Phillips, who rose to fame in the '80s starring as Richie Valens in the film La Bamba, also has three daughters from the previous marriage.
