Zac Efron, America Ferrera Win Family TV Awards

Ugly Betty star America Ferrera and High School Musical hunk Zac Efron were among the winners at the ninth Family Television Awards Wednesday night in Beverly Hills.
Ferrera, 23, who has accumulated Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild awards for her portrayal of Betty Suarez on the ABC series, won best actress while the show best comedy.
Efron, 20, won the best actor award for the Disney Channel original, which earned best movie musical honors.
ABC's quirky Pushing Daisies snagged the best new series award while NBC's Heroes won best drama.
