It's a boy and a girl for actor Dennis Quaid, 53, and his wife of three years, Kimberly, 36, who greeted son Thomas and daughter Zoe in Santa Monica, Calif., Nov. 8. Born via a gestational carrier, the twins are second and third children for Quaid, who has son Jack Henry, 15, with his ex-wife, actress Meg Ryan.... The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck, 30, and husband Tim, 29, an NFL quarterback, welcomed their second child, son Taylor, Nov. 9. Taylor joins big sister Grace, 2.
Former Rock Star host Brooke Burke, 36, and her fiancé, actor David Charvet, 35, are awaiting their second child together, due next spring. The couple already have 10-month-old daughter Heaven. Burke has two other daughters, Neriah, 7, and Sierra, 5, from a previous marriage.
In a class-action suit filed in Nashville Nov. 13, more than 70,000 fans claim they were cheated out of tickets for Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus's sold-out concert tour. They are accusing Interactive Media Marketing and Smiley Miley Inc. of failing to provide Miley World fan club members with the priority seats they were allegedly promised in exchange for the $29.95 annual dues. A rep for Cyrus, 14, however, called the claim "simply false," adding that, "Miley World members had far greater access to concert tickets than the general public and other fan clubs." ... A priest accused of stalking late-night talk show host Conan O'Brien (inset), 44, was arrested Nov. 2 and admitted voluntarily to a Boston hospital for psychiatric evaluation. The Rev. David Ajemian, 46, who allegedly began writing O'Brien in September 2006 and attended Harvard at the same time as the TV personality, was nabbed by police after trying to enter a Manhattan taping of his show.... British singer Amy Winehouse's husband, music video assistant Blake Fielder-Civil, 25, was charged Nov. 10 in a witness tampering case. He was arrested by undercover police officers two days earlier for allegedly attempting to bribe pub owner James King to withdraw his police statement. Fielder-Civil and his friend Michael Brown are accused of beating King in June.... David Copperfield, 51, was sued for nearly $5 million in L.A. Nov. 6 by promoters who claim he skipped out on a planned Asian tour to avoid media scrutiny related to sexual assault allegations against the illusionist. Copperfield's rep, however, said he canceled because the plaintiffs, Viva Art International Ltd. of the Channel Islands and MAZ Concerts, Inc. of Ontario, "did not honor their contractual commitments." ... Robert Singer, 49, the now-suspended chief operating officer of the National Children's Museum in Washington, D.C., was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with distributing child pornography over the Internet. He faces a prison sentence of up to 140 years if convicted on each count.
Director Delbert Mann, 87, who won an Oscar for the 1955 film Marty, starring Ernest Borgnine, died of pneumonia in L.A. Nov. 11.... Bestselling author Ira Levin, 78, whose novels Rosemary's Baby and The Stepford Wives became hit films, suffered a fatal heart attack in Manhattan Nov. 12.
