Rascal Flatts Guitarist to Become a Dad

Rascal Flatts singer-guitarist Joe Don Rooney and his wife, Tiffany Fallon, are expecting a baby next May, his Nashville-based publicist has announced.

This will be the first child for the couple.

"We are so excited to be adding a new life to our home," Rooney, 31, said in a statement.

Added Fallon, 33, who was Playboy's 2005 Playmate of the Year: "We cannot wait to become parents and cannot believe this time next year, we will be celebrating Christmas with a child!"

The two married on April 23, 2006, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
