Rosanne Cash is recuperating after undergoing brain surgery late last month.

"Rosanne is back home recovering comfortably from her surgery, which took place on November 27," reads a message on her Web site. "She extends thanks and appreciation for all the love, good wishes, prayers and kindness."

Cash, 52, the daughter of the late country-music legend Johnny Cash, had been diagnosed with a "rare but benign condition."

Cash underwent brain surgery to correct what had been diagnosed as Stage 1 Chiari malformation, according to her rep. Chiari malformations, according to the National Institutes of Heath, are "structural defects in the cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls balance." Her rep said that Cash's symptoms had included headaches.
