• It was Project Shopping for model Heidi Klum, who was all smiles as she enjoyed a chilly afternoon in Aspen with her mother Erna. Bundling up in a wool sweater and knit cap, the mother of three's snowy trek wasn't in vain: she left a local jewelry store clutching a bag full of goodies.

• Paris Hilton, making a late-night stop at new Hollywood lounge Villa with an entourage of 20, including sister Nicky, Nicky's boyfriend David Katzenberg and Brandon Davis. Trading in tabletops for a more low-key option, the heiress danced on her chair and bobbed her head to Feist's 1234.

• Celebrating his recent Nobel Peace Prize win in style, former Vice President Al Gore stopped in for a family dinner at Beverly Hills eatery Crustacean. "He came in with his son, two daughters, and son-in-law," says a source. The environmentalist was also generous with his order. "They had garlic noodles, tiger prawns, and a large spread of appetizers."

• Jennifer Love Hewitt, throwing a holiday party with her mom at Arnie Morton's The Steakhouse in Burbank. Seventy guests packed the restaurant's boardroom, indulging in crab cakes, lamp chops and Morton's legendary Hot Chocolate Cake. The evening's highlight? Hewitt's impromptu bluesy performance with the band followed by a round of mini cheeseburgers at the bar with friends.

• Even bunnies love him! Everybody Loves Raymond star Ray Romano rung in his birthday a few days early with former costar Brad Garret at the Playboy Club. Stopping in for the Sunday night Playboy After Dark party, the two had a great time hanging out with friends and playing $200 rounds of blackjack.
