In a six-page spread for Teen's prom issue, the former Laguna Beach star models potential prom night styles while waxing nostalgic about her past five once-in-a-lifetime events. (Yes, she attended five different proms!)
Of course, as the star of one of MTV's hottest reality shows ever, Cavallari has the supreme keepsake to remember the special event. "It's really cool to have my prom on tape, especially edited by MTV in such a cool way with the best music. That's priceless," she tells the magazine .
Not that she hasn't been savoring the rest of her life, but she was especially fond of her prom experiences: "Prom was the one night where I didn't feel like I had to act a certain way. I thought, 'This is my prom. I don't want to hold back.' I just wanted to enjoy it and have fun."

As for advice for girls still looking forward to their big night, she advises them to think about doing their own styling. "I used to get it done at a salon and they just piled so much on. I got to a point where I just did my hair and makeup myself and I liked it so much better," she says.
