The 26-year-old hotel heiress landed in jail after violating probation by driving with a suspended license following a DUI arrest last year. After a false-alarm reprieve, she eventually served her time in a 12-by-15-ft. cell at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif. She vowed to make a difference upon her release. "I've really grown and matured," she said.
In July, Lohan was arrested for her second DUI, driving with a suspended license and cocaine possession—11 days after finishing a stint at Promises rehab clinic. The relapse landed her a third trip to rehab. On Nov. 15, Lohan, 21, served just 84 minutes in jail due to overcrowding. "Lindsay has been given a new start," said her mom, Dina.
On Aug. 26, the actor—who has struggled with drug addiction and depression—made an apparent suicide attempt. Since then, he's mostly been hanging out with brothers Luke and Andrew, best pal Woody Harrelson and a series of women, including American model Le Call, 28, with whom the Wedding Crashers star celebrated his 39th birthday in Maui in November.
The 24-year-old British singer canceled tour dates, slurred her songs onstage and was photographed bloodied and bruised on the streets of London. Then on Dec. 18, Winehouse—who has admitted to struggling with drugs—was arrested and released on suspicion of interfering with a criminal case against her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, who's been accused of assaulting a bartender.
