FOOD RESOLUTIONS!
HOW TWO CELEBS PLAN TO EAT HEALTHY IN 2008

KIM KARDASHIAN WANTS TO DROP 5 LBS.
"I weigh 115 lbs. now and want to get to 110 lbs.," says 5'3" reality star Kim Kardashian. "Nothing drastic, just lose a little fat and tone up!" She works out regularly—"a lot of cardio and dance"—but is less disciplined at the table. "If I like a food, I'll eat it, even if I know it's not good for me." (Before starting her diet, she splurged one last time on deep-fried Oreos. "I figured I'd end 2007 with a bang!") So will her famous posterior make it to 2009? Sure: "I like it. I don't want it to go away."

QUEEN LATIFAH AIMS TO LOSE 5-10% OF HER WEIGHT

The Queen officially started her diet—and her surprising new gig as a Jenny Craig spokeswoman—on Jan. 10. Her goals are modest but potentially life-saving. "If you lose 5 to 7 percent of your weight, you cut the chances of diabetes in half," says Latifah, who lost a great-grandmother to the disease. At the Critics' Choice Awards, the Mad Money star chatted with BodyWatch.

JENNY CRAIG ADS? WHY?
I know people wonder, because I'm quite comfortable with myself. I'm trying to be an inspiration to people who just want to get healthy.

WHAT WAS YOUR BIGGEST DIET DOWNFALL?
Portion size. I don't eat bad food. I eat organic; I eat vegetables. I probably just eat too much.
