EXPECTING
Actor Jack Black, 38, and his wife, musician Tanya Haden, 36, are awaiting their second child. "I've been told that two children is three times as hard as one child," said Black, who has 19-month-old son Samuel, "but then strangely three children is easier than one." ... No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont, 40, and wife Mieke, 30, are awaiting Baby No. 2, due in June.... Former Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, 38, and her husband, Jerry Solomon, 53, are eagerly anticipating their third child. "We are thrilled, and she's feeling great," Solomon says of his wife, a 1994 silver medalist.

ENGAGED
Dubbed San Francisco's most eligible bachelor, Mayor Gavin Newsom, 40, has lost his honorary title: He is set to wed actress Jennifer Siebel. Newsom proposed to his future bride, 33, who has a recurring role on the NBC drama Life, in Hawaii over the holidays. Newsom's marriage to FOX News Channel anchor Kimberly Guilfoyle, 38, ended after four years in March 2006.

LEGAL MATTERS
Singer Ne-Yo (inset), 28, sued the promoter of fellow R&B crooner R. Kelly's recent concert tour in L.A. Dec. 31, claiming that he was unjustly dismissed as an opening act in November for outshining Kelly. A rep for Kelly, 41, said, "The idea that R. Kelly had anything to do with Ne-Yo being dropped from the Double Up Tour is just plain silly," adding, "Anyone remotely familiar with R. Kelly knows he is confident enough in his own abilities to be happy to share the stage with enormously talented people-the more talented, the better." ... New York Yankees pitcher Roger Clemens, 45, sued his former trainer Brian McNamee, 40, who claimed during a federal investigation to have injected the baseball player with performance-enhancing drugs several times between 1998 and 2001. The suit, filed in Houston Jan. 6, calls McNamee's statements "false and defamatory." An attorney for McNamee said of the suit, "The case is shoddy at best." ... Martin Tankleff, 36, was released from prison in Dec. 27 after serving 17 years for the 1988 murders of his wealthy parents, Seymour and Arlene Tankleff, in their Long Island home. An appeals court threw out Tankleff's conviction, citing new evidence uncovered by a private investigator pointing to a former business partner as a suspect.

RECOVERING
Olympic figure skating champion Dorothy Hamill, 51, who won the gold medal in 1976, is being treated for breast cancer in Baltimore. Her rep said the prognosis is "very favorable," but that she must take a break from headlining the Broadway on Ice tour.... Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young singer Stephen Stills, 63, had surgery for prostate cancer Jan. 3 in L.A. "[The] procedure went remarkably well and he couldn't be better," said his wife, Kristen.

IN REMISSION
Celebrated chef and restaurateur Grant Achatz, 33, has announced that the Stage 4 tongue cancer with which he was diagnosed in July (PEOPLE, Oct. 22, 2007) is in remission. Achatz, whose chic Chicago eatery Alinea was named the country's best by Gourmet magazine in 2006, said he had "a tremendous sense of gratitude and relief" after successfully undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Although he lost some sense of taste during treatment, that all-too-important faculty has been restored.
