Lindsay Lohan's Red Carpet Return

Lindsay Lohan stepped out Wednesday night – and into her first major red carpet event since leaving rehab.

Lohan's arrival at the premiere for Cloverfield in Hollywood had photographers swarming the 21-year-old actress, who beamed for the flashbulbs. The star's flattering, black Hervé Léger cocktail dress fit in perfectly with the event's black carpet.

After the screening, stars made their way to Stage 16 for the afterparty. Lohan held court in the VIP section near newly brunette Ashlee Simpson and her beau, Pete Wentz, who were surrounded by a few beefy bodyguards.

Despite her recent sobriety setback, Lohan was only drinking water or Red Bull and left around 11:30 p.m, according to an observer.
