Ahhh, freedom! Just days after completing 48 days in jail, Kiefer Sutherland takes a leisurely stroll in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. The 24 star also enjoyed a celebratory dinner with his dad, Donald, 72, at Koi restaurant in L.A. shortly after his release. The two men seemed to be in a celebratory mood, according to a fellow patron, who told PEOPLE: "They were smiling and laughing a lot."

The night of his release – which happened just after midnight on Monday – "[Kiefer] looked like he was glad to be out," according to jail spokesman John Balian. Umm, yeah.
