Thursday morning, a woman deposited a pink, plush lion on the stoop with the tender message, "Stay strong. Your baby girl needs you now more than ever. ... She will be your strength. And know that you have neighbors who love and support you."
Williams's doorway was also festooned with flowers, while candlelight tributes remained from Wednesday. Other signs of support include a bouquet of white roses with the note: "Always in our prayers and thoughts. God bless you and your family."
