BEST FEMALE POP VOCAL

First off, Beyoncé was robbed not getting nominated for "Irreplaceable" here. Also missing: Corinne Bailey Rae's shimmering turn on "Like a Star." Still, it's hard to deny the pop charms of Fergie and Furtado, both of whom had big years. Aguilera, though, was far better belting "Ain't No Other Man," for which she picked up this trophy last year. And while Feist refreshingly raises the quirk quotient with her iPod commercial ditty, Winehouse pulls off the neat trick of nailing a classic Motown groove as a thoroughly modern bad girl. To that, we say, "Yes, yes, yes!"

Christina Aguilera

Feist

Fergie
