It's Official, We're Addictive: Readers Giving Up PEOPLE.com for Lent
We've known it for years, but here's growing evidence that PEOPLE.com is becoming an addiction on par with coffee and chocolate: Our readers are giving us up for Lent. Bloggers around the world made their declarations for Ash Wednesday – Rachel in Germany considered "chocolate," "sugar" and "pop," but she says, "The thing that kept coming back was PEOPLE.com. I love PEOPLE.com, and I can't even tell you how much time I spend surfing celebrity gossip sites."

Blogger Nestor lumped PEOPLE.com in with "bread" and "soda" and speculated that this year's Lent "is going to be particularly difficult for me." The list goes on, from Regina in Wisconsin, to Jennifer in Texas. We at PEOPLE.com wish you the best, and look forward to your return after Easter.
