"It's heartbreaking that Heath's daughter will never know her devoted and loving father"
I was shocked when I heard about Heath Ledger's death. My heart goes out to Michelle Williams and their daughter Matilda. My two sons lost their father when they were very young, so I know the path that lies before her won't be an easy one. I pray God brings healing and peace to his family. Heath was a great actor, but I will remember him best as a doting father.
I enjoyed watching Heath Ledger's career develop, and I believe he was on his way to becoming one of the best actors ever. But more importantly, he was an adoring father. The most tragic thing about his passing is that his little girl will not remember him. I just hope that the paparazzi let Matilda and the rest of his loved ones grieve privately.
As I watched the SAG Awards this evening, I shed some tears when Heath's face flashed across the screen. He was undoubtedly an amazing actor, but besides that many of us also viewed him as a down-to-earth guy. He was someone you felt you could actually sit down with and have a cup of coffee. We will miss him.
Everyone has the right to decide what religion they wish to belong to, including Tom Cruise. If he does not want to be criticized for his beliefs he should stop professing that his chosen religion is the only way to live your life. The public wouldn't be so quick to judge Mr. Cruise if he didn't come across as a narrow-minded know-it-all. If Scientology really is a wonderful religion, people will realize it; he does not have to force it down their throats. It's time for Tom to relax.
MIRACLE FLIGHTS FOR KIDS
This past June I had the task of trying to help 11 children with pediatric eye cancer get to Maine for medical attention, and I could find no one to help me. After hearing about Miracle Flights, I desperately told them what I needed, and they came to my rescue. They are heroes to me. And the families they assisted will be forever grateful to them for providing the resources they needed to obtain lifesaving treatments for their children.

My question is, why did Miley Cyrus need a makeover? I think she is adorable just as she is (was). She looked like a 15-year-old girl, not a 15-year-old trying to look like a 25-year-old. As the mother of two young daughters who are huge Miley fans, all I can say is, let's not make these girls grow up before they need to. Haven't we learned anything from Britney or Lindsay?
Miley, keep the hair, tone down the makeup. You're only 15 once!
