"They aren't afraid to show their affection. It's just who they are," a pal says of the pair.

One apparently sent from Cloud Nine – where Barrymore, 33, and Long, 29, seem to have taken a lease since they started dating six months ago. "They are absolutely madly in love," a friend says of the pair. The proof is in the PDA: Since the two first fell for one another while working on their film He's Just Not That Into You, they have unabashedly kissed, canoodled and cuddled their way through Hollywood, Mexico and now South Florida. But "their love isn't just a show," says the couple's pal. "Even when people aren't watching, they are exactly the same. They don't hold anything back, physically or emotionally. They've just thrown it all out there."
Even on national TV. When Barrymore stopped by Oprah on March 3 to announce her $1 million donation to the United Nation's World Food Programme, a beaming Long sat in the audience – and raved about his girlfriend. "She's beautiful and funny. She's the most compassionate person I've ever met," he told Oprah Winfrey. Plus, he gushed, "she smells great." Barrymore is equally over the moon. "This relationship is great. It's healthy, it's productive, and it's supportive. It's full of humor and a lot of fun," she told the talk show host. "I found a best friend."
