"I'm not dating," Daly, 34, told PEOPLE in New York Wednesday. "I'm single. "I haven't had very much luck with the Hollywood starlets so, I've tried to stay away from [them]."
Carson, who appeared in Herald Square as part of a Guinness beer promotion to encourage New Yorkers to make St. Patrick's Day an official U.S. holiday, said he's also changed his personal lifestyle since moving to Los Angeles.
When people ask the former TRL host how he lost weight, he says, "I lived in New York [and] I just made bad choices. I ate and drank too much. You can get pizza in New York that's delicious at 2 in the morning, so why wouldn't you? It's awesome! In L.A. It's a little bit different. I surf every morning, I ride my bike now, and I just live a healthier lifestyle."
