Jackass star Steve-O is using his time in a psychiatric hospital to ponder the meaning of life.

"I have been on a spiritual mission and, gradually, have come to realize that I have a deeper agenda in this life than to make people giggle at my random acts of silliness, such as breaking bones and shoving things up my butt," writes MTV's prankster on his MySpace Celebrity blog.

In a post titled, "Just When You Thought This Week Couldn't Get Wilder," the MTV personality (real name: Stephen Glover) says he relates to rocker Ozzy Osbourne, who strove to be "deliberately misunderstood." Steve-O also says he's been considering deep philosophical issues, including what he sees as the nine dimensions of reality.

Lest anyone worry that the man known for his outlandish stunts and reckless behavior is getting too deep, he also offers a link a "filthy rap song" called "The Gutter Lane."

Steve-O is currently hospitalized in what he calls the "looney bin" on a 14-day hold. He told friends in an email last week that "I did a great deal of damage to my brain" with drugs and "now that they've all worn off, I'm facing the consequences."
