Van Halen plans to go back on the road next month, rescheduling concerts postponed due to guitarist Eddie Van Halen's mystery illness.

The new tour dates were announced on the rock band's Web site, with no update given on Eddie's health.

Van Halen suspended its North American reunion tour of sold-out venues earlier this month after announcing the 53-year-old musician was "undergoing a battery of comprehensive medical tests."

The band's reps have not disclosed the nature of his illness. Van Halen has battled cancer and substance abuse in the past, though his ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli says he is not in rehab.

Van Halen performs its previously scheduled April 19 date in Las Vegas and April 22 date in Cincinnati, then does another 18 rescheduled shows across the country, ending June 2 in Grand Rapids, Mich., according to the site.
