George Clooney is once again the hottest ticket in town – the town of Maysville, Kentucky, that is.
The actor/director will screen his new film Leatherheads for 300 guests at the Washington Opera Theatre as a present for his dad Nick's hometown of 9,000 on Monday.
The town has special meaning for the Clooney family, reports the Associated Press, as it was also home to George's aunt, actress Rosemary Clooney, who in 1953 screened her film The Stars Are Singing there.
"He knows all about that, and he is very interested in kind of connecting the dots as far as family history," Nick Clooney said.
Maysville Mayor David Cartmell said the event will probably be the biggest the town has seen in five decades, adding, "The whole town is abuzz."
The film, which also stars Renee Zellweger and John Krasinski, will be in theaters April 4.
