Dupre and her mom indulged in massages Saturday at the Hand & Stone Massage Spa in Spring Lake Heights, N.J., which borders her childhood home in Wall. "I know she's been under a lot of stress so I hope we relaxed her," a source at the spa told PEOPLE.
The 22-year-old – best known for her involvement in the political scandal that led to the resignation of New York Governor Eliot Spitzer – was recently called "a strong, independent woman" by friends discussing the scandal.
And former classmates at Wall High School in Wall Township, N.J., also offered a generally positive portrait – though Dupré only attended through her sophomore year.
