After years of fronting bands – most famously, Bush, and then Institute – Gavin Rossdale is striking out on his own. Luckily, the British musician has a vocal supporter in his wife, Gwen Stefani – literally.

"[Son] Kingston is not on the record," Rossdale tells Buzznet, an online music networking site, in a new interview about his album, Wanderlust, due June 3. "[But] the Mrs. sings some real nice stuff on 'Some Days.' Otherwise, nothing but support from those guys." Rossdale even offers a taste of the song in a trailer he shot for the album (see video above). In the four-minute clip, music from his solo debut serves as the soundtrack to a drive through the desert.
