Get ready for the sexier side of
Alicia Keys – starting with this cover and interview in the May issue of
Blender magazine (hitting stands April 15).
The usually ladylike singer says she's ready to reveal another side her fans rarely get to see. "I'm discovering my sexual side," says the Grammy winner, 28, adding that she recently recorded "my most sexual song yet ... I recorded this song – it's super simple: just piano, Rhodes keyboard and a kick drum. It's so sensual. It moves you."
But is the world ready for this new Alicia? Keys's manager Jeff Robinson – not so much. When the singer first played the song for him he reacted "like a squirmy dad" and jumped out of his seat before the song ended, saying, "We do not record songs like this!"
