Cate Blanchett Debuts Newborn Son

Oscar winner Cate Blanchett introduced her 6-day-old son over the weekend at the Australia 2020 forum in Canberra.

The public appearance of her third son, Ignatius, illuminated the conference, where the actress brainstormed about the future of the arts with other Australian performers including Hugh Jackman. "It is a measure of my belief in the weekend that I am here at all," Blanchett told reporters. "As you could imagine, I would rather be in bed."
