REALITY
The premise is tacky fun: Put the offspring of famous musicians onstage and see if they can sing. The premiere produced a few interesting talents: A'Keiba Burrell-Hammer, whose dad is MC Hammer, was lightly soulful; Olivia Newton-John's daughter Chloe Lattanzi sang in a deep, choked voice—between Amy Winehouse and Linda Blair. She was strangely impressive. But no performer had anything approaching the treacly charisma of American Idol's humble boy-next-door David Archuleta.
