CELEB MOM & BABY EDITION
What do zillionaire stars give other zillionaire stars when they have babies? Whoopi Goldberg gave pal Jennifer Lopez plush pieces for twins Max and Emme, while Halle Berry's daughter Nahla got her first set of wheels from car buff Jay Leno, who bought the racer before she was even born.

KATE HUDSON'S BEAUTY MISSION
The star and her longtime hairstylist team up to launch an eco-friendly hair care collection
Kate Hudson always had an earthy streak, but it shines through in the ad campaign for her new line, David Babaii for WildAid. "Our main concern was making something conscious and making it good," she says of the cruelty-free, sustainable hair care collection she created with her stylist of six years, Babaii. (A percentage of profits benefits wildlife conservation.) Up next? Organic makeup. "I'm not a big makeup person, but you always need something to cover up a blemish," says Hudson. "My mom [Goldie Hawn] is old school. She can put on her entire face without a mirror!"

KATE'S HAIR THROUGH THE YEARS
Babaii describes Hudson's talked-about Oscar coif as a "loose, sexy look."
"I was pregnant and crazy," says Hudson. "I told David, 'I want Donatella hair.'"
"The dress was so elegant and soft, I wanted to wear my hair up," she says.
"That's with a curling iron," says Hudson. "I wish I could wake up and look like that."
"It sometimes feels contrived, wearing hair back," she says. "Not as comfortable."
"She wanted me to cut bangs, but I wasn't around," says Babaii. "So she just cut them."
