Hockey Star Sean Avery Hospitalized with Lacerated Spleen

Hockey star Sean Avery is in the hospital after lacerating his spleen during a playoff game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Associated Press reports.

The New York Rangers forward was admitted to St. Vincent's Hospital after receiving at CT scan, following his team's 5-3 loss on Tuesday night. The hockey star – and noted agitator – is expected to make a full recovery but will sit out for the rest of the season.
