We're gonna keep it small and intimate," Sophia Bush vowed back in January about her nuptials to Chad Michael Murray, her sometime lover on the WB teen drama One Tree Hill. She might have added "scenic and emotional." Exchanging handwritten vows April 16 in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Pacific at Santa Monica's Hotel Casa Del Mar, Bush, 22, and Murray, 23, broke down. "Chad was crying like a baby," says a guest. "Sophia cried too."
Bush, who wore a strapless silk tulle gown by Vera Wang, and Murray, sporting a custom-made Ralph Lauren Black Label tux, "are both very, very romantic," says the bride's mother, Maureen. "The first song they danced to [at the ballroom reception] was Frank Sinatra's 'That's All.' That is romantic." So were the floral arrangements: long white calla lilies and yellow and cream roses. Some 200 guests dined on salad, steak and chicken. Then it was back to the floor. Mr. and Mrs. Murray "would go off to slow-dance in the corner," says deejay Brett Walkow of B. Boy Studios. Alone and with friends, "they danced the night away."
