The Babyshambles frontman, 29, was released from a London jail Tuesday, the Associated Press reports. He had served 29 days of his 14-week sentence for violating his probation.
Following a series of drug busts, the singer has become a fixture in the London judicial system.
Last October, Kate Moss's ex pleaded guilty to possession of crack cocaine, heroin, ketamine and cannabis – plus driving infringements. He was given a suspended sentence and ordered to enter a 12-month treatment program.
But after repeated probation violations, he was sent to jail early last month (forcing him to cancel a high-profile gig at the Royal Albert Hall).
"His luck finally ran out," a friend told PEOPLE at the time.
