Weiland, 40, who had been sentenced to serve eight days in jail for the offense – his second DUI – after pleading no contest following a Nov. 11 arrest, was allowed to leave the jail at 6:54 p.m. Monday, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Web site.
He had surrendered at 8:55 that morning.
As part of his sentence, Weiland is also required to complete an 18-month alcohol education class and pay nearly $2,000 in fines.
