Even if you're born with rock-star talent, it can take a while to get the look down just right. That's where the Jonas Brothers' stylist Michelle Tomaszewski comes in. Tomaszewski, who describes the boys' current look as "aristocratic rock stars," started working with the band in 2006. "They needed help putting elegance back into dressing for guys," she says. "At the time, everyone was just wearing T-shirts and jeans." Tomaszewski quickly upped the glam quotient with dress shirts, ties, vests, ascots, and although the jeans remained, they suddenly got a lot tighter. Fortunately, all three of the boys were eager to embrace their new looks. "They loved it," says Tomaszewski. "Now they get excited when they go shopping."
At 17, Kevin was big on graphic T-shirts and ripped denim.
Sporting spikier hair and warming up to the ascot with a bandanna.
Kevin goes through a straight-hair phase, and the scarves get bolder.
"Kevin is the typical gentleman dandy," says Tomaszewski of his current look.
At 15, Joe looked more boy band than rock star.
His clothes begin to show more of an edge and attitude.
The Mick Jagger swagger: striped purple jeans and a mod jacket.
"Joe is '80s rock glam. He can carry colors and wear red pants," says Tomaszewski.
At 12, Nick's style was strictly teen casual.
He ups the glam with longer, mussier hair and a cool chain.
From hoodies and tees to jackets, dress shirts and ties.
"Nick is the subdued, cool cat of the bunch," says Tomaszewski.
