Kanye West & Selita Ebanks: Just Friends

Kanye West and Selita Ebanks are good friends, but nothing more than that, says a source close to the model.

West and Ebanks were among those attending a party Saturday night at the New York City club Tenjune. Plus, Ebanks showed up at the afterparty following West's May 13 concert appearance at Madison Square Garden.

But the source says that rumors of a romance between the two are not true.

"They are just friends. They were with a large group that included Serena Williams and Selita's dad," says the Ebanks source about the Tenjune party.

West, 30, recently broke off his engagement to fashion designer Alexis Phifer while Ebanks was once engaged to Nick Cannon before they called it quits in October. Cannon married Mariah Carey on April 30.

A rep for West couldn't be reached for comment.
