Josh Hartnett has some big shoes to fill.
The actor, 29, has signed on to play charismatic car dealer Charlie Babbitt – the role made famous by Tom Cruise in 1988's Oscar-winning film, Rainman – for a stage adaptation planned for London's West End in September.
"It has always been my intent to work on the London stage," Hartnett said according to the BBC.
The role of Hartnett's autistic brother – which earned Dustin Hoffman an Academy Award for Best Actor – will be played by British thespian Adam Godley – most recognizable in America for his roles in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Love Actually.
