Feist's Hit Gets a Sesame Street Makeover

07/15/2008 at 11:25 AM EDT

Feist's popular song "1234" was a hit with hipsters when it was used to promote the Apple iPod Nano – but it's time for Apple to share the tune with some mini hipsters in the making: Sesame Street viewers. Sesame Street has turned the jazzy tune into an educational ditty that teaches kids how to count to, yep, you guessed it – four! Feist sways among the puppets in her black skinny jeans and wispy ponytail singing newly minted lines like "1234 monsters walking 'cross the floor. "
