Her legendary TV producer husband Aaron Spelling died in 2006, and her reality-star daughter Tori Spelling is on her own, so Candy Spelling has decided to live more frugally – in a $47-million, two-story condo in Century City, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The 16,500-sq.-ft. property is perched on the top floor of a residential tower currently under construction, and will be her new home after the lavish, 56,500-sq.-ft. estate where she now lives. That home – with its 11 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms – is Los Angeles County's largest house.

The new place will also be a record-breaker: At $2,848 a square foot, it's the most anyone's paid for a condo unit in L.A. She intends to move there in about a year.

And while Spelling had previous sworn she wasn't selling the home she and her husband dubbed "The Manor," her lawyer tells the Associated Press she is selling the house and downscaling her lifestyle after the death of her husband.
