They'd sure make a right pretty couple, but Taylor Swift
says she's not dating fellow teen crooner Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers
"We're all friends," she told PEOPLE on Monday.
Besides, the 18-year-old has other pressing teenage concerns – namely, graduating from high school. She recently received her diploma in the mail and she's beaming with pride.
"Graduating high school is really, really cool," she says. "I'm so proud of it because I stopped going to high school in 10th grade, but I started home-schooling."
"It's really good to know you don't have to give up on your dreams to graduate high school, and you don't have to quit your education to live your dreams," says Swift, who was recently also named Goddess of Summer by Venus Embrace razors. "It's really cool that you can do both."
On tour this summer with country trio Rascal Flatts, Swift currently holds both the No. 1 and
No. 2 spots on the Billboard Country Album Chart, with her combo CD/DVD, Beautiful Eyes
, and her eponymous debut album.
When it happened, "it was really, really funny to read the headlines the next day that said, 'Taylor Swift gets bumped out of No. 1 – by herself
,'" she says.
Adds Swift, pretending to be envious of herself: "We're gonna have problems, me and that girl, whoever that is!"
