Representative Dick Guttman adds, "The rumors which began in England about her health are dramatic, overstated and untrue."
Contrary to tabloid reports that the star struggled to maintain consciousness after a bout with pneumonia following congestive heart failure, Guttman assures PEOPLE, "Her hospital visit was precautionary."
Taylor, 76, is set to return home shortly.
"At present," Guttman also said, "she is surrounded by family, friends and fabulous jewels."
