Dolly Parton offered a double dose of comedy and compassion when she hit the concert stage in Los Angeles Sunday night.
"Poor little Britney Spears
and Lindsay Lohan
," Parton told the crowd at the Greek Theatre, reports E! Online
. "Ain't it awful? If those little girls slept with as many men as they say in the tabloids, why their little butts would have more fingerprints than the FBI!"
Parton, who belted out most of her hits during the two-hour show, further acknowledged, "I kinda feel sorry for them. We should give those two a break."
The ever-voluptuous country queen, 62, also talked about sharing the screen with Miley Cyrus
, a star she has praised
in the past.
Having played the role of Aunt Dolly on Cyrus's hit show Hannah Montana
, "a lot of little kids come up to me and say, 'Aunt Dolly!' " Parton told her concert audience. "And I say, 'Would you little girls like an autograph?' And they say, 'Oh yes! When you see Miley, please get us one!' "
