Barenaked Ladies Singer Miraculously Survives Plane Crash
Barenaked Ladies frontman Ed Robertson and all three other passengers walked away from a small plane crash Sunday in rural Ontario, Canada.

Robertson is "really lucky" to have survived the wreck, deputy fire chief Brian Sears told the Intelligencer, a local paper. He added that the singer and three passengers escaped through a window and "didn't even have a scratch."

The incident happened around 12:30 p.m., when the Cessna 206 float-plane went down in some woods soon after take-off from Baptiste Lake, west of Ottawa.

"Everyone is fine, and that is the important thing," Adam Smith, a spokesman for the band, told the paper. "That's all the comment we have at this time."

It's been a rocky few months for the group. Robertson's bandmate Steven Page faces drugs charges after his July arrest.
