Oasis's Gallagher brothers are no strangers to scraps, but when their band took the stage at Toronto's Virgin Music fest this weekend, an audience member went on the attack.
About a minute and a half into their performance of "Morning Glory," a man rushed the stage from the wings, shoving guitarist Noel Gallagher into his stage monitor and onto the ground. The man turned toward singer Liam Gallagher, but was restrained by security. Liam, ready to throw a punch, had to be held back by stage hands.
The assailant was led off stage and later charged with assault, according to Canada's The Globe and Mail. The performance was paused for a few minutes until the band resumed with "The Importance of Being Idle."
