"Sometimes I'm sexy, and sometimes I'm not," Banks, 34, tells Women's Health in its October issue. And the actress, who has been married since 2003, explains that it is perfectly all right with her husband.
"I don't think I'm that special, and he definitely doesn't think I am," she says of her spouse, Max Handelman. "Because no one is that special. I'm not curing cancer; I'm not saving lives. I play make-believe for a living, so let's not take it too seriously."
She's also not too youth – or beauty – obsessed.
"I'm not a fan of plastic surgery," Banks says. "Oh, and I've never had a wax in my life. Waxing makes no sense to me."
Still, Banks takes care of herself.
"I do try to eat healthy, and I find that's easiest when I just avoid the Doritos aisle at the grocery store," she says, explaining that rushing to the gym isn't always a priority. "The idea of getting in the car and driving to the gym and finding parking – it's just not happening, because the whole thing could be a two-hour endeavor."
